Spring Sales held in New York


The New York State Carousel Guernsey Sale took place tonight (April 6) in Syracuse, New York. 20 live lots averaged $1670. The sale was managed by the New York Guernsey Breeders and Fraley Auction Company.

A Very Good A2A2 Grumpy daughter was the highlight selling for $2,600 to the Kuszlyks of Batavia, New York. Consigned by Dr. Joseph Piskorowski of Ithaca, New York, Femara Luna-ET is a Grumpy daughter with a 2-02 305D record of 17,306M 748F 536P Proj. Act. that was due in May to Lightning-ET. She is backed by the 94-point Sniders Yogi Anise-ET, a multiple All-American daughter of the 95-point Altann.

The New York Spring Ayrshire sale was also held on April 6 with several outstanding lots selling. It was managed by the New York Ayrshire Club.

The high selling Ayrshire in the New York Ayrshire Spring sale sold for $3,100 to Faith A. Vedisian of Hilton, New York. Elite-HP Peach-ET, consigned by Peter Vail and the Hellenbrands is a Reagan daughter born in September 2017. Her dam is the Yellow Briar Burdette Panama, the 2016 Reserve All-American Jr. 3-Year-Old scored EX-93.
