DeLaval VMS PRO North America: The Most Progressive Dairy Event

VMS PRO robotics conference showcases top dairies, provides networking and education

BANNOCKBURN, IL – Dairy producers, industry members and all interested in robotic milking are invited to attend the prestigious grand finale to the DeLaval Robotics World Series: VMS™ PRO North America. VMS PRO, short for Voluntary Milking System Professional Robotics Operators, serves, educates, and rewards the best robotic dairy producers across North America.

Throughout 2018, DeLaval has recognized and awarded top producers at regional VMS PRO events in the United States and Canada. These events featured success stories, presentations from industry experts, and farm tours. Fernando Cuccioli, DeLaval Regional President, North America, urges dairy farmers to “prepare for an even higher level of excitement and expertise at VMS PRO North America.”

Come see what the most successful dairymen milking with robotics have to say on June 27th and 28th, 2018 at the Overture Center for the Arts in Madison, WI. “You won’t want to miss it,” says Cuccioli. “We’ve lined up some top-notch industry speakers, including our top 12 VMS producers from the US and Canada. They’re all set to share their knowledge on top-of-mind topics for all robotic dairies.”

Day one kicks off with a keynote speaker, Tom Thibodeau, Distinguished Professor of Servant Leadership at Viterbo University. Because robots enable a different type of employee role on dairies, his presentation on Servant Leadership will help owners empower their employees to take on that new challenge. The day continues with presentations from Voluntary Milking System (VMS) producers and the crowning of North America’s number one robotic dairy producer. Breakout sessions on day two will cover:

  • Settings to optimize the VMS

  • Why Free Flow? Why Guided?

  • Economics of robotics

  • Barn design

  • Managing people on robotic farms

  • Optimizing daily routines on a robotic dairy

Registration for the event is now open, and those interested should also visit the DeLaval website to learn more. “Come and witness a major step in the DeLaval innovation journey,” concludes Cuccioli. “We look forward to seeing dairy producers from around North America gathered in the dairy state.”
