Official Judges Selected for the 2018 World Dairy Expo

MADISON, WIS. – World Dairy Expo® is pleased to announce the eight individuals who will serve as official judges during the 2018 World Dairy Expo Dairy Cattle Show, October 2 through 6. The judges – who span across the United States and Canada – are responsible for the evaluation and placing of more than 2,300 cattle at the annual event with the help of their associate judge. NAILE Supreme Champions

As the crews were packing trailers and preparing for travel home to all parts of the country, the hustle and bustle stopped for a few moments as the Supreme Championship unfolded. Triple Crown Heifer at National Guernsey Show wins Junior Champion

Judges Chris Lang of Ohio and Richard Giddings of Vermont placed the Guernsey heifers last evening and Judge Lang tapped the winning Winter Calf Warwick Manor LS Sky ET for Junior Champion. She became the breeds' newest Triple Crown when she won her class earlier in the evening after topping both the NGS-Harrisburg and NGS-Madison classes. An unusual occurrence took place during the International Brown Swiss Show. Judge Keith Topp of Ohio, and his Associate Judge, Dean Dohle of Missouri, had three cows pulled to center ring for selection of the Senior Champion of the International Brown Swiss Show.
